Abbey clancy fires back at husband peter crouch over 'sex ban' comments

Abbey Clancy couldn't resist teasing her husband Peter Crouch when he spoke about a "sex ban" in the sporting world. The former England striker, aged 44, shared that athletes

often avoid intimacy before an important match. This topic arose after a listener wrote to their The Therapy Crouch podcast and mentioned his wife's desire for a romantic encounter

prior to his golf game the next day. When asked if it was true that players abstained before a game, Peter replied: "It is in the sporting world, but not for golf though." Abbey

humorously retorted: "You never stuck to that." Peter quipped in response: "Absolutely not, you never look a gift horse in the mouth in my opinion. That's why I never got

to the top of my profession." Peter went on to explain he wouldn't want to stay up too late before a football match. He added: "Obviously you don't want a marathon

tantric session the night before a game but you know, I wouldn't have been drinking, and sometimes I think, as a man, it's hard to turn it down I would suggest." Abbey then

revealed to their listeners that Peter, the ex-Liverpool forward, was more amenable to late-night activities if she initiated them after he had already gone to bed. However, if she was

asleep first, she'd be more inclined to tell him to "get off" her. Peter Crouch revealed a glimpse into their bedtime rituals from his football days, amusingly commentating:

"When I was playing football, I would never have stayed up that late anyway, I'd have been in bed at 10 and you'd have been next to me. If there was any funny business, it

would have been 8.30pm." Abbey, with her usual wit, retorted that such 'funny business' would be a swift affair, remarking it would range from "8.30pm to 8.33pm"

Peter then added with a chuckle: "Eight-thirty-three and then 8.35pm gone." The couple frequently share snippets of their homelife through their podcast, where they recently

brought up a nocturnal nuisance. Peter voiced his gripe about Abbey commandeering his orthopedic pillow for better TV viewing, explaining: "She's all over the orthopedic pillow. It

helps with my posture and stuff and helps me have a good night's sleep." Abbey admitted her pillow preference: "I get into bed first and it's a bit firmer so I'm a

bit more upright in this pillow so it's perfect. My face is in the perfect position for Married At First Sight." Faced with a pillow predicament, Peter quipped that he feels as

though he's "doing crunches" to see the TV since Abbey has appropriated his pillow while playfully expressing his bemusement with their relationship: "I don't

actually know why I'm with you." He continued, half-jokingly scolding Abbey: "It's dawned on me now. It's really actually dawned on me. You're belittling my

wins, even if it's a small win, you should celebrate that as my wife. "Number two, you take the p*** out of my orthopedic pillow and number three, you steal it. It's

unbelievable."
