Boy fighting for his life after hitting wall on motorbike

A teenage boy is fighting for his life after a horrific bike crash in Barnsley. South Yorkshire Police raced to Pogmoor Road on Friday, May 30, at 5.31am following reports that a biker had

been flung off his bike after crashing into a wall. The rider, a 17-year-old, was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries. The force said they are now appealing for witnesses to the

crash or anyone who may have dashcam footage to come forward. A spokesperson said: "Following a single-vehicle collision in Pogmoor, in which a boy suffered serious injuries we are

urging anyone with information to get in touch. "It is believed the rider of the motorcycle, a 17-year-old boy left the carriageway and collided with a wall. No other vehicles were

involved and no other injuries were reported. "He was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries, where he remains. His family has been informed and is being supported by

specialist officers. "As our investigation progresses into the circumstances, we are now asking for any witnesses to the collision or anyone who may have relevant dashcam footage of the
