A motorway through Yorkshire has been partially shut outside York after an crash. The A1(M) southbound has been partially closed between Junction 44 at the A64 to York and the Aberbord
Bypass in Parlington. The closure is causing very slow traffic, backed up north of Junction 44 past Bramham. The expected delay is around 15 minutes at this stage. Our traffic monitoring
system INRIX said: "A1(M) Southbound partially blocked, very slow traffic due to accident from J44 A64 (York / Tadcaster, Hazlewood) to M1 Aberford By Pass (Parlington). Travel time is
15 minutes." England Highway Incidents shows a crash on the A1(M) Southbound south of J44, and suggests delays of over 20 minutes. YorkshireLive has contacted emergency services,
