Street at 2-4 Invermay Road will facilitate a 852 car park, currently 172 spots have been redeveloped at the site.

A UTAS spokesperson said the first stage would reopen in the next few weeks for use.

"The project is scheduled for full completion by mid-year," they said.

More than 30 employees are working on the upgrade.
