35, will remain a government employee following being charged for a drink driving offence, a state spokesperson said.
Hudgson, of Kingston, appeared in the Hobart Magistrates Court on Tuesday and pleaded guilty to the charges of driving a motor vehicle while exceeding the prescribed alcohol limit and
failing to have proper control of a vehicle.
He was disqualified from driving for 15 months, backdated to May 4, and was ordered to pay a $1200 fine plus court costs.
"Mr Hudgson has been fined and had his licence suspended for a drink driving offence," the spokesperson said.
"He is extremely remorseful, and he has accepted full responsibility for the matter."
