Zac Alexander and Devonport teen Grace Pattinson challenge world top-50 ranked players from Egypt, England, India, South Africa and throughout Europe.

Alexander is best remembered for controversially being dumped from the 2014 Commonwealth Games doubles team while still in Glasgow for rival Matthew Karwalski over a Court of Arbitration for

Sport decision.

Pattinson will return for her second Tasmanian open, and according to Squash Tasmania’s president Leon Barnett, the 16-year-old is expected to use the tournament to further springboard

toward a professional career.

The PSA world-recognised squash tournament runs from four days next month at the Devonport Squash Centre in Forbes Street.

LOCAL HOPE: Devonport squash talent Grace Pattinson will return to her hometown tournament to face a bevy of leading female internationals next

month.ShareFacebookTwitterWhatsappEmailCopyAndrew MathiesonSports JournalistThe day I realised I wasn't good enough to play for St Kilda or be the No.1 spinner for Australia was when I
