Buckingham’s women will be representing England in continental action this weekend as they contest the EuroHockey Indoor Club Trophy in Alanya, Turkey. The tournament sees all sides who were

set to play in the cancelled 2021 event invited to compete, with Buckingham earning the right to be at the tournament courtesy of their Super 6s victory back in 2020. They will play five

matches in a round-robin style tournament between 18-20 February, with each side playing each other once and the team that finishes top of the group being crowned champions. Buckingham start

against Railway Union HC of Ireland at 08:00 GMT on Friday 18 February, followed by a second game against Scotland’s Clydesdale Western at 13:00 on the same day. SK Slavia Prague of the

Czech Republic provide their first opponents at 09:15 GMT the following day before they then play SV Arminen of Austria at 14:15. Finally, they end their tournament against Gaziantep
