European competition beckons for surbiton and hampstead & westminster women

Surbiton have travelled to Amstelveen, Netherlands to compete in the Euro Hockey League Final8 this weekend. They qualified for the competition on the back of their eighth successive

Vitality Women’s Premier Division title in the 2021/22 season.   Surbiton, who finished as the runners-up in the recently held Vitality Women’s Premier Division Finals Weekend, will take on

the German club Düsseldorfer HC in the Knock Out 3 fixture at the Pinoké, Wagener Stadium on April 7, 2023, Friday.   A win will take them to the Semi-finals of the tournament which will be

Trophy 2023 campaign taking place from April 7 to April 10, 2023. They qualified for the tournament following their second-place finish in the Vitality Women’s Premier Division last season.

   Hampstead & Westminster are grouped in Pool B of the EuroHockey Club Trophy. They will face HC Rotweiss Wettingen (SUI), Mannheimer HC (GER) and Iris Hockey Lambersart (FRA) in the

pool stage. First-place finish in the pool will take them to the final, while a second-place finish will help them qualify for the 3rd/4th play-off match.   FULL SCHEDULE  7 April - vs HC
