READING’s home form has now seen them run up seven successive defeats after OXTED stayed one point clear at the Lower Six summit with a 4-3 win. Reading's counter-attack threat got the

better of Oxted twice as the hosts rallied and the game headed into the final quarter at 2-2. But Guy Morgan made it three games on the spin finding the net, his second of the game, to pave

won and lost alternative matches in their last five fixtures. In the Top Six, HAMPSTEAD & WESTMINSTER conceded five for the third time in succession at home as they went down 5-3 to

leaders OLD GEORGIANS. Matt Guise-Brown blasted his first hat-trick for two years but it wasn’t enough as OGs scored four in 14 minutes, ending with Alan Forsyth’s double in the 68th minute.

SURBITON scored their first victory at rivals HOLCOMBE since late 2019 in a tight 1-0 win and Conor Williamson’s 42nd -minute penalty corner goal. Holcombe failed to score for only the

second time this season, while this was a sixth clean sheet for Mark Pearn’s side. SOUTHGATE lost their last fourth match in a row as WIMBLEDON ran out 3-0 winners on Saturday. Duncan Scott
