Mumbai: bmc to impose building height restriction for marine drive view

building in this funnel of vision shall be raised to the height of more than 21.35 meters. However, municipal commissioner Ajoy Mehta said that the new DP is following 1991 guideline on this

aspect and restrictions will be only on the buildings up to Marine Drive. "Buildings beyond Marine Drive are not in the purview of this DCR," he said. The BMC plans a

viewer's gallery for tourists at the spot where once the famous and popular Naaz restaurant stood proudly. Presently, this part of the park has a control room operated by water
