carry popular words of English as well as all other Indian languages which are being used commonly in Hindi, he said. Eminent poets, sanitation activists, politicians and other dignitaries

attended the 'Dinkar' Memorial Lecture to remember the poet. Former Sikkim Governor and scholar Balmiki Prasad Singh called upon the youngsters to follow the path of great poets

society through his powerful writings. National Book Trust chairman, Baldeo Sharma recalled Dinkar as one of the finest scholars of India. Dinkar was an Indian Hindi poet, essayist, patriot

and academic, who is considered as one of the most important poets of modern Hindi literature. He was conferred with the Sahitya Akademi Award in 1959 for his work 'Sanskriti ke Char
