‘SLANTED HOUSE’, IS A REALIZED PROPERTY SITED IN A RESIDENTIAL AREA OF PONDOK INDAH DESIGNED BY BUDI PRADONO ARCHITECTS. the prominent and upmarket area has seen a common pattern of


homeowners using architecture as a representation of their success and wealth. BASED ON A PLOT MEASURING AT 8 BY 20 METERS, THE DESIGN IS DEFINED BY ITS EXPOSED ROBUST STEEL ENVELOPE PAINTED


COMPLETELY IN WHITE. the distinctive element is the noticeable tilting of the structure, highlighting the volume which holds programs. the external framework leans forwards towards the


street at an angle of 70° and serves as a shell that encases the sequence of angular and unique spaces within. the home is located in a gated, private area called pondok indah SPREAD ACROSS


THREE FLOORS, THE SCHEME IS CONNECTED THROUGH A SUSPENDED STAIRCASE OF WHITE MESH. to lessen the minimal and harshness of the structure, the designers used internal plants and trees to


cultivate a tropical essence, while providing a subtle transition between the inside and outside.   the open-air pool and porch is based on the ground floor THE GROUND FLOOR DEDICATED TO


ENTERTAINING AND SOCIALIZING ILLUSTRATED BY THE OPEN-AIR DOUBLE-HEIGHT PANTRY AREA AND ADJACENT SWIMMING POOL. the sculptural spaces unfold with the bedrooms situated on the second level


with a 16 square meter bathroom and a contemplative room for relaxation. furthermore, the top level – showing sweeping views of the the surrounding environment – has been left for the lounge
