Love island's chloe burrows issues warning over tv dating shows

days, but as it marks its tenth year on TV, one of its former stars has issued a warning about reality dating shows. Chloe Burrows appeared on the seventh season of Love Island as a

bombshell back in 2021. She is now shining a light on how young people are finding love in a brand new Channel 4 documentary, reports OK! Love In The Wild: The Real Dating Experiment will be

available to stream from June 4, and shows Chloe, now 29, diving headfirst into diverse dating scenarios. The star tried everything from rock climbing meet-ups to group tantra classes, as

well as learning about dating apps and how they really work. After a spell of being single, Chloe confesses in the documentary that she is now in a relationship with someone she met the

relationship again. It's not a secret, but I want to keep as much to myself as I can." When reflecting on her journey to find love via Love Island versus the insights gained in her

new documentary, she pinpointed a glaring issue with the trying to find love on a reality show. "I didn't think I'd meet anyone on any of the dating shows I was on. I was

just there for fun, it's an amazing opportunity and I wanted to be on TV," she shared. "But when you go and do these dates in real-life, one of the most fascinating things I

found was everyone was so open about their intentions quite quickly." She continued: "On a dating show, I don't know if you give 100 per cent your true self within the first

date because there's cameras, you're nervous... but when you're speed dating everyone is just themselves." Chloe uncovered some surprising facts during her documentary

experience, including that about 80 per cent of under-35s have ditched dating apps, and the unexpectedly high number of men versus women who'd let AI craft their dating profiles.
