19:26, 14 May 2025 James Argent has broken his silence after being nicked for attacking his partner while on a sunny getaway. The ex-TOWIE celeb and his other half Nicoline Artursson were on

the Costa del Sol when the shocking incident happened. Arg, aged 37, was arrested by the Spanish Civil Guard on suspicion of domestic bust-up on Sunday, May 5. The telly personality, known

for his stints on the popular ITVBe show, admitted ill-treating Nicoline in the Court of Violence Against Women in Fuengirola. He's been handed a suspended prison sentence and ordered

to attend a "resocialisation course in the field of gender violence". He has reportedly landed himself a restraining order, stopping him from getting in touch. Breaking his silence

post-arrest, the now singer told the Daily Mail: "I am devastated by what's happened.", reports the Mirror. He insists he's still on the straight and narrow, adding:

"I am still three years and four months clean and sober." The Mirror had a chinwag with a rep from the Guardia Civil who spilled the beans on Arg’s arrest, stating: "We can

confirm Mr Argent was arrested by 'Policia Local' of Mijas for an alleged crime of domestic violence on 5th May." An eyewitness shared with the Mirror: "We were

frightened by his shouts. We couldn't believe what we were seeing." They also mentioned that Nicole "appeared to be physically and emotionally devastated."

Nicoline's mum was quick to the scene, offering her support, while the local bobbies took them both to hospital. Arg is reportedly filled with regret over the incident but maintains he

"remorseful about what happened but is insisting he never meant any harm," as per The Sun. Argent shot to stardom as one of the original faces on The Only Way Is Essex, gracing our

screens from 2010 to 2018. The 37 year old crooner has since appeared on a slew of reality shows including Celebrity Super Spa, The Jump, Sugar Free Farm, and Celebs Go Dating. Back in
