LUKE LITTLER AND LUKE HUMPHRIES WENT HEAD-TO-HEAD IN THE PREMIER LEAGUE DARTS FINAL ON THURSDAY EVENING AT THE O2 ARENA IN LONDON 22:02, 29 May 2025Updated 10:34, 03 Jun 2025 Luke Humphries
has completed his triple crown after beating Luke Littler in the Premier League Darts final. Littler, 18, met his old foe Humphries in the final for the second year running. The pair, who
have been in another stratosphere from the rest of the darting world across the past 16 months were far from their sparkling best as they chased their doubles around the board. It was the
defending champion who had looked in the ascendancy, before Humphries came roaring back - however Littler would hit back, moving into a two-leg lead. They appereaed to be struggling, there
wasn't a rhythm to either from the oche - both visibly distracted from a draft that appeared to be coming across the stage. Article continues below Littler had been 3-0 up, but Cool
Hand was able to wrestle his way back into the clash before the break It was Cool Hand who came the better out of the break, moving 6-5 into the lead and then nailing a maximum and taking
another leg. Littler was experiencing a role reversal from the semi-final, when he came storming out of the break. However, Littler hit back with two darts at D16. The pair were suddenly
setting up shop in the triple 20 bed - and it was Humphries to take another set, 8-6. After a slow start it was turning into an epic, and Littler was the latest to take a leg. Humphries had
a chance at the bull for the fish, but elected to set up and found himself chasing his double. Littler, however, would leave the door open and Cool Hand took out D4. Humphries' class
started to shine through and he had 32 to take out with Littler on the biggest finish of them all. Neither could take it out, before Cool Hand nailed D2 - leaving him one set away. Littler
had to be perfect from here on out to retain his crown. Article continues below But the world No.1 was in no mood to let up, and took his maiden Premier League crown.
