Luke littler opens up on 'cool down' trick he used to beat price in prem darts

LUKE LITTLER REVEALS HOW HE COOLED DOWN DURING THE BREAK AND RECUPERATED AGAINST GERWYN PRICE TO ADVANCE TO THE PREMIER LEAGUE DARTS FINAL ON THURSDAY 20:52, 29 May 2025 Luke Littler had to

produce a comeback to beat Gerwyn Price during Premier League Darts finals night. Littler, 18, had been second best in the opening exchanges as he struggled on the outer ring. The Iceman

didn't need a second invitation to punish The Nuke, and stormed into the lead. However, after the break, Littler came out swinging and Price didn't have an answer as Littler booked

his spot in the final - where he will face Nathan Aspinall or Luke Humphries. "When he hit the double five to go 6-4 up I took myself straight off stage, I needed to get myself up for

it," Littler explained. "The first five or six legs I was nervous and going into the break 6-4 down was not what I wanted. I knew, especially after last year, that I love coming on

after a break so I relaxed myself and I got the job done. Article continues below "I stormed off stage but that was just in my own head. I just had to. I sat down and had a drink and

cooled myself down and said 'you can do it'. I got the job done. "I know I can relax now. I'll watch the first 10 legs of the other semi-final and then when they get to
