Morning, recently suffered a concerning incident when he fell off his chair while presenting the GB News Breakfast show alongside co-host Ellie Costello. Viewers heard a loud crash as the

camera focused on guest commentator Charlie Rowley. Ellie could be overheard gasping "oh my gosh" off-camera, before Eamonn urged Charlie to "carry on" before briefly

leaving the air and returning after a commercial break. Eamonn has been diligently working on his recovery following spinal surgery in 2022, which aimed to alleviate chronic back pain caused

by three slipped discs. Over the past year, he has visibly struggled with mobility, utilising walking aids and a wheelchair. One week after his GB News tumble, the veteran presenter posted

a nostalgic photograph on Instagram, which showed him in full health. In the image, Eamonn proudly stands, hands in pockets, donning a crisp white shirt, black trousers, tie, and overcoat,

ready to present a news segment, reports the Mirror. Article continues below Eamonn reminisced: "This pic tells me this was 3 years ago in my Home City of Belfast. I was making a big

extravaganza featuring The Ulster Orchestra and Film and TV music associated with famous producers. "It actually made me very sad looking at it because I could walk then and can't

now. I pray to God and the new Docs that I am seeing that all will change and change soon. Keep you posted and please think of me." Support poured in from fans and friends, with one

commenting: "Hang in there. Am sure it's incredibly hard and dispiriting; but here's hoping that better days are to come." Another shared their personal connection:

"This was my very first TV gig and it was such a special privilege to work with you Eamonn, you gave me amazing support and solid advice at working in the industry. Wishing you all the

very best in your healing and thank you for being an inspiration." A fellow patient offered empathy: "I hope they can help you Eamonn. I'm recovering from spinal surgery.

It's a long haul to recover but worth it. Sending positive thoughts for a good outcome for you," they said. Eamonn humorously addressed his on-air tumble, quipping about the

"wonky wheels" at the studio. After returning from a commercial break, he reassured viewers: "Welcome back. Good to see you again. Especially good for me to see you again. I

am still alive, yes. "And they're very wonky wheels on chairs that we've got here, and matter of fact, we don't really like the chairs full stop, do we? They're a

because they're well known people, but they've hit the floor really badly, quite frightening. "And it was a bit of a shock for me because I've had a fall in my bathroom
