King of the hill star 'shot dead by neighbour' after horror argument

King of the Hill star Jonathan Joss has died aged 59 after being shot, it's been reported. The actor is best known for voicing the character of John Redcorn in the beloved cartoon,

which ran for 13 seasons between 1997 and 2009. He also appeared as Chief Ken Hotate in the hit sitcom Parks and Recreation. It's reported he was shot dead by an unnamed neighbour in

San Antonio, Texas on Sunday night (June 1) after a "heated argument". According to TMZ, the pair began arguing at a house on the south side of the city when things escalated. San

Antonio Police Department officers told the outlet the neighbor pulled out a gun and shot the actor several times before fleeing the scene in a vehicle. Officers reportedly responded to a

call of a shooting and captured the suspect one block away from the home after receiving a description of the car. It's said paramedics raced to the scene to provide medical assistance,

but were unable to save the actor who was pronounced dead. According to Variety, the cops were dispatched to a shooting in progress at a home around 7pm and found Joss near the road after

being shot several times. The suspect has been detained and booked for murder, with an investigation into the attack still ongoing. Joss had voiced healer John Redcorn from season 2 to 13 of

King of the Hill, replacing the character's original actor Victor Aaron, who died in 1996. He had already recorded lines for the upcoming reboot of the series, which is set to premiere

on Hulu. Announcing the revival, Hulu's YouTube channel wrote: "Better than an Alamo and almost as good as propane. An all-new season of #KingofTheHill drops Aug 4th on Hulu and

Group boss Craig Erwich said of the revival: "We are all so excited to welcome back Hank, Peggy and Bobby, and to see what they have to say about the world we live in and continue the

conversations we began years ago." He added to The Hollywood Reporter: "This show has all of the perfect ingredients to meet this moment in animation at Hulu, and we’re so thankful

to be having those conversations alongside this talented group." Joss also appeared in films and shows such as Ray Donovan, True Grit, The Magnificent Seven, and Tulsa King. He also
