leader's claim that Vladimir Putin is "playing with fire". Trump posted on his Truth Social account: "What Vladimir Putin doesn't realize is that if it weren't

for me, lots of really bad things would have already happened to Russia, and I mean REALLY BAD. He's playing with fire!" Medvedev, now deputy chairman of Russia's Security

Council and a vocal supporter of Putin, hit back on X: "Regarding Trump's words about Putin 'playing with fire' and 'really bad things' happening to Russia. I

only know of one REALLY BAD thing - WWIII. "I hope Trump understands this!" The chilling comment is clearly a nod to Russia's nuclear arsenal and its readiness to use it if

hostilities with Western nations escalate. Since Russia commenced its full-scale assault on Ukraine in 2022, Medvedev has gained notoriety for his increasingly aggressive and incendiary

remarks. He often takes to social media to lambaste Western politicians and insinuate that a worldwide clash could happen should Moscow's demands be disregarded. Trump has consistently

maintained that the conflict in Ukraine would have been averted had he stayed in the Oval Office. He has also claimed he could swiftly resolve the conflict if he made a comeback to the Oval

Office, but has failed to make a dent so far. This week's remarks are among the rare occasions that Trump has actually criticised or openly cautioned Putin, whose ties with the US

leader have been closely watched in both Washington and beyond. Trump is well-known for his explosive language. Back in 2017, while serving as President, he warned: "North Korea best

not make any more threats to the US. They will be met with fire and fury like the world has never seen." This comes after Trump made a chilling World War 3 protection ultimatum to

Canada as he continues to try and force the country to become the '51st state'. In a bizarre protection offer, Trump is offering Canada access to his “fabulous” Golden Dome air
