ROSE WEST, WHO WAS CONVICTED OF KILLING AT LEAST 12 WOMEN WITH HER HUSBAND FRED, IS CURRENTLY SERVING A WHOLE LIFE ORDER BUT HAS TO CONSTANTLY MOVE PRISON AS OTHER INMATES FIND OUT WHO SHE
IS 02:29, 29 May 2025Updated 02:30, 29 May 2025 Fresh insights into the grim daily life of infamous serial killer Rose West behind bars have emerged. Rose West, now 71, committed unspeakable
acts of rape, torture and murder alongside her husband Fred, targeting at least a dozen women and girls in their Gloucester house of terror from 1967 to 1987. The full extent of their
heinous deeds remained hidden until 1992 when their daughter Louise, just 13 years old at the time, accused Fred of rape and Rose of cruelty. Although the case fell apart when their eldest
daughter Anne Marie, who had suffered abuse since she was eight, declined to give evidence, the children's accounts set off alarm bells for the police. A massive probe ensued after it
came to light that the children were frequently intimidated with threats of being buried "under the patio like their sister Heather", who had disappeared five years prior.
Investigators soon unearthed the chilling truth, discovering victims as young as Rose's stepdaughter Charmaine, just eight, to Fred's former wife Catherine 'Reno'
Costello, aged 27. In 1995, Rose West was handed a whole life tariff, ensuring she will spend the remainder of her days in prison after authorities found multiple dismembered corpses
concealed in the garden, under a patio, and even within a sordid cellar. Since giving up on her appeal attempts in 2001, it's believed she has accepted the likelihood of spending the
rest of her life behind bars, having already served nearly three decades. Regular transfers due to threats from other prisoners are part of her routine. She has been at New Hall for six
years and leads a comfortable existence. However, insiders told The Sun: "She's in a disabled room now because she can barely walk. She never really leaves the wing she's held
on and is escorted all the time by prison officers if she goes anywhere. Sometimes she sits in the communal areas on her own. "No one talks to her because everyone knows who she is and
what she did, even if she has changed her name. When I was there, she tried to make friends with the other women and gave them gifts, like vapes, but she was rejected. She likes to watch
nature documentaries on the TV in her cell, especially ones about birds." In an attempt to distance herself from her heinous crimes, West reportedly shelled out £36 to change her name
to Jennifer Jones. It's understood she legally changed her name last December and told friends it's her way of moving forward. However, her true identity is known to all in a
special unit at New Hall known as Rivendell House near Wakefield in West Yorkshire. She spends the majority of her time knitting and chatting to the television, as her mobility is severely
limited. Netflix premiered a chilling new documentary this month titled Fred and Rose West A British Horror Story. The film delves into the horrific acts committed by the Wests from their
seemingly ordinary Gloucester home during the '80s and '90s. The three-part series, featuring over 50 hours of previously unseen and unheard police interview tapes from 107
interrogations, pledges to shed fresh light on the murders of at least 12 women by Fred and Rose West. Article continues below _FOR THE LATEST BREAKING NEWS AND STORIES FROM ACROSS THE GLOBE
