rumours the club have decided to sack Ange Postecoglou days after winning the Europa League. It was a dire domestic season for Spurs but their first major trophy in 17 years did a lot more

than paper over the cracks in the eyes of fans. The former Celtic boss was ridiculed for brashly telling reporters he 'always' wins a trophy in his second year – and then went and

did it when his side beat Manchester United 1-0 to lift the trophy in Bilbao. But there's no escaping the fact a 17th-placed finish in the Premier League was a dramatic underperformance

and it's expected that owner Daniel Levy will announce a decision on Postecoglou's future in the days ahead. On Sunday rumours began to swirl on social media that he has in fact

already reached that decision with Postecoglou to be given his jotters imminently. It's claimed either Brentford's Thomas Frank or Fulham's Marco Silva have already been lined
