DONALD TRUMP HAS BEEN MOCKED ON SOCIAL MEDIA AFTER HIS PHONE BACKGROUND WAS CAUGHT ON CAMERA DURING A PRESS CONFERENCE. 18:23, 02 Jun 2025 US President Donald Trump has been mocked after
cameras caught a glimpse of his phone's lock screen, revealing a photo of himself. The image, which appears to be an AI-enhanced snap from his latest election campaign, has sparked a
frenzy online. Political commentator Harry Sisson shared his thoughts on TikTok, saying: "Donald Trump was holding a press conference and his phone screen was seen. Can you take a guess
as to what the lockscreen photo is? If you guess himself, you'd be absolutely right." Sisson quipped: "Do you know how narcissistic you have to be to want yourself to be the
home screen? You'd be constantly looking at yourself. Normal people might have a photo of themselves and others - family or friends - but no, in Donald Trump's world, it's a
constant him." Sisson claimed this isn't out of character for Trump, who allegedly has a fondness for hanging portraits of himself on his walls, reports the Mirror. He added:
"He just loves admiring what he looks like, but it's very strange." The TikTok clip has racked up 71,000 likes and numerous comments, with one user saying: "Narcissism on
full display." Others joked about the possibility of Trump searching for and downloading the image himself, while another compared it to people who display portraits of themselves at
home, calling it "It's like people who have portraits of themselves hanging at home. It's so odd." Article continues below While some criticised the image Donald Trump
chose for his lock screen, others failed to see an issue. Comments included, "So? I have myself too its quite common actually." and queries like "Is this a problem?"
Another pointed out, "Lots of people do that, no?". Trump's preoccupation with his image is not new; he recently requested the removal of one of his Presidential portraits. In
an outlandish tirade on TruthSocial, he lamented, "Nobody likes a bad picture or painting of themselves. But the one in Colorado, in the State Capitol, put up by the Governor... was
purposefully distorted to a level that even I, perhaps, have never seen before." He acknowledged artist Sarah Boardman for creating a "wonderful" portrait of Obama during his
Presidency but slammed her efforts on his own depiction: "He looks wonderful, but the one on me is truly the worst." Article continues below Mocking Boardman's abilities,
Trump suggested, "She must have lost her talent as she got older. In any event, I would much prefer not having a picture than having this one."
