A NOTE WRITTEN ALL IN CAPITALS WAS LEFT FOR THEM TO RETURN TO. 12:34, 20 May 2025Updated 12:35, 20 May 2025 A Scots motorist was criticised for their parking by fuming locals who left a note
on the windscreen of their car. The brazen driver, said to have been in Edinburgh, was called out for parking in front of a driveway, with some people going to the extent of leaving a large
message for them to come back to. A picture of the offending vehicle was posted online by Parking Watch UK. Although its exact location was not confirmed, over 100 residents in the capital
shared their views, reports Edinburgh Live. The capitalised sign left on the car reads: "NO PARKING IN FRONT OF DRIVEWAY." One local wrote: "I'd be taping that note down,
with A LOT of tape. Just in case it blows away." A second said: "Why do people think if there is no car on a drive, it's okay to park across it? It's so easy to find the
correct information nowadays." Article continues below A third commented: "Trying to figure out if these people are blind, selfish or plain stupid?" Another added:
"That's what would happen on my street if we had driveways as some of my neighbours are that bad at parking, they park right in the middle of two spots. It's called selfish
parking." However, it was argued by others that the "driveway" was actually a fence. One person asked: "Is that a gate or just a fence though?" Another agreed:
"That looks like a permanent gate, certainly not an overly obvious gate." JOIN THE DAILY RECORD WHATSAPP COMMUNITY! Get the latest news sent straight to your messages by joining

ignoring parking rules across the city and surrounding areas. Some were branded "inconsiderate" and "shameful" by residents. It comes after The City of Edinburgh Council
enforced new restrictions on pavement parking, with the act earning drivers a £100 fine. Article continues below The changes were brought in to "ensure the safety of those getting
around" and has only highlighted instances of poor parking across Edinburgh.
