THE LIVERPOOL LEGEND COULD BE HEADING BACK TO GLASGOW ONCE MORE, BUT WHERE ARE HIS FAVOURITE PLACES TO HANG OUT IN THE CITY? 10:30, 21 May 2025 The rumour mill is continuing to turn about

who will be the next Rangers manager, and Steven Gerrard is the name on everyone's lips. The Liverpool icon seems to be the favourite to replace interim boss Barry Ferguson, who is

leaving his post following the final game of the Scottish Premiership season against Hibs, so the search for a new manager is on. On May 4, 2018, Gerrard signed with Rangers Football Club as

their next manager after a tough few seasons. He then left Rangers in 2021 for his shot at the English Premier League, but he was shown the door by Aston Villa before making a surprise move

to the Saudi Pro League. But now he's currently on the hunt for a new role and, with Rangers also searching for a new boss, could it be the perfect match once more? The father of four

fitted in so well in the city and really embraced it as his home for three years, even finding his favourite spots for a run, a coffee and a bite to eat.. WEST END When he arrived in Glasgow

in 2018, the 44 year old spend a lot of time in Glasgow's west end. It's believed that he lived in a swanky flat in the Dowanhill area of Glasgow. Article continues below He often

posted on his Instagram snaps of himself out running and keeping fit with friends. Despite his wife Alex and their four kids remaining in Merseyside, they often travelled up to Glasgow to

visit and also enjoyed walks in the west end. The couple would pick up a coffee and stroll with their youngest, eight year old Lio. FAMILY TIME AT THE PARK When the Gerrard clan came to

Glasgow to visit, they often enjoyed quality family time. Here the Gers boss hopeful can be seen with his kids at Dowanhill Park. ITALIAN DINING It seems that Gerrard is a huge fan of

Italian food and frequently visited two of Glasgow's favourite Italian restaurants. He firstly visited the iconic Caprese Don Constanzo on Woodside Crescent. The restaurant is known for

hosting several famous faces and football stars, and the official Instagram account often shares snaps of their guests. In 2019, after his visit, they penned: "We had the pleasure of

Steven Gerard dining with us tonight." The former Liverpool legend also visited another firm favourite, La Lanterna on Hope Street in the city centre. Staff shared a picture of the

eatery's boss smiling alongside the then Gers manager. On their Instagram, they wrote : “One boss meets another! Steven Gerrard swung by to join us for dinner!” La Lanterna is also

known for hosting famous faces including Lewis Capaldi and Paolo Nutini. INDIAN FOOD When looking for a little bit of spice, Gerrard would head to Mister Singh's India in Elderslie

Street, where the staff were delighted to host him. The restaurant shared a snap of their guest on Facebook and penned: "Great to see Steven Gerrard come in for some famous Mister

Singh's hospitality..... #HomeOfTheStars" Mr Singh's India is also a hotspot for the stars and their guests have included the likes of Billy Connelly, Cliff Richard and

Orlando Bloom. IBROX Of course, the place he spent the most time was Ibrox, and who knows? Maybe he will be back once again... Article continues below JOIN THE DAILY RECORD WHATSAPP
