Home bargains to open new £2m ayrshire store this weekend with cafe and bakery

in Ayr this Saturday. The discount retail giant will open the doors to their new superstore, dubbed ‘Ayr 2’ at 8am on Saturday, June 7. Ayrshire Live previously told how Home Bargains

planned a move into the site at Parkhouse Street as owners TJ Morris Ltd, applied for planning permission to erect signage. Now that all the planning hurdles are cleared, the firm is

ploughing ahead with a grand opening. As one of the UK’s largest family-run retailers, Home Bargains is also creating 50 new jobs in the local community with its new store in Ayr- with 44 of

these being new hires. The new ‘Ayr 2’ store will also complement the existing Ayr store, on Heathfield Retail Park, and more than 600 outlets across the UK. Article continues below

offer shoppers a range of products, including homewares, health and beauty essentials, sweets, snacks and drinks, as well as fresh and frozen food. The Ayr 2 store will also be home to a
