Emergency services race to crash between car, bus and van

Emergency services have been called out after a crash between car, bus and a van on a main road in Coventry. Part of Butts Road was closed off following the collision earlier this afternoon

(May 30). West Midlands Fire Service fire engines, paramedics and police were spotted at the scene, close to the Coventry Elim church and Apollo House. West Midlands Ambulance Service (WMAS)

has confirmed to CoventryLive that the emergency services response was to a three vehicle collision. WMAS sent an ambulance and a paramedic officer to the scene of the road traffic

NUNEATON HAMPTON-BY-HILTON HOTEL COSTS "We were called to reports of an RTC in Butts Road in Coventry at 2.55pm and sent an ambulance and paramedic officer to the scene," the WMAS

spokesperson said "On arrival, crews found a bus, van and a car had been involved in a collision. "A woman was treated for minor injuries but did not require further treatment so

was discharged at the scene." West Midlands Fire Service told CoventryLive that a fire engine and a 4x4 brigade response vehicle from Coventry responded to the 999 call, arriving at the

scene in under four minutes. "The incident involved a collision between a bus carrying eight passengers, a car, and a van. Fortunately, no one was trapped or injured were

reported," a WMFRS spokesperson said. "West Midlands Police closed the road while we worked with them to safely clear the scene and reopen one lane to traffic. Our crews left the

scene at 3.37pm."
