A scheme to help people through the cold weather of winter is up and running in Coventry. CV Life has launched Cosy Corner, a series of hubs designed to offer a warm, welcoming space for
people to meet. The hubs are located at the organisation's facilities including Centre AT7, The Alan Higgs Centre, Coventry Transport Museum, the Herbert Art Gallery and Museum, Xcel
Leisure Centre, and The Wave. Each will serve low cost refreshments and have free parking and wifi, remaining open throughout the day and into the evening. Selected venues also have soft
play and a TV and there are jigsaws, puzzles, board games, and books available at Xcel Leisure Centre. Wendy Jackson, CV Life’s head of community development, said: “Cosy Corner is about
more than just providing warmth. It’s a chance for people to connect with others, access free services and see our facilities as community wellness spaces. In challenging times, we want to
support local people by creating environments that are safe, welcoming, and affordable." READ MORE: BIGGEST' JAPANESE CINEMA PROGRAMME COMING TO WARWICK ARTS CENTRE NEXT MONTH The
