to find a list of fines? If you are concerned about the status of an outstanding fine for which you have received a notice, it is possible to consult your dossier of these.  This is done

online via the website of fine collection service ANTAI (Agence nationale de traitement automatisé des infractions).  You need your numéro d'avis or référence de l'amende

forfaitaire majorée from the ticket – the website explains where these can be found – as well as information including your family name and when you received the ticket.  If you wish to

unsure about the status of any older offences, it is possible, instead, to request to see a history of your speeding fines.  This document is called a bordereau de situation des amendes et

condamnations pécuniaires (BSACP) and it will also include current fines if you have any outstanding along with other previous driving penalties.  It can be useful to request one of these if

you are worried you may have been flashed but that a ticket may not have been correctly sent out, or may have gone astray in the post.  The request to obtain a BSACP is made in writing to

the local public treasury (Trésor public) or your area, or the area where you were driving, by post – you can find its details via an online search for ‘Trésorie amendes’ plus the name of

your department. You can make the request by post or email. Your letter should include: * Your name, address and phone number * The make and number plate of your car * A copy of your

certificat d’immatriculation (often called a carte grise) and identity papers (ID card, passport or carte de séjour)
