Batteries used in solar panels in france recalled due to fire hazard

COMPANIES NATIONWIDE USED THE BATTERIES IN DOMESTIC INSTALLATIONS A nationwide recall of batteries used in solar panel installations is underway in France due to a fire risk. The batteries,

produced by South Korean company LG Energy Solutions (LGES), are used to store excess solar panel energy, but risk overheating and starting a fire.  These batteries were used by dozens of

companies across France in projects between April 2017 and September 2018 where panels were installed on private properties by third-party solar panel installation companies. The following
