THE WEATHER IS EXPECTED TO WORSEN ON THURSDAY AND REMAIN UNSETTLED INTO THE WEEKEND A spell of good weather across France is set to be interrupted from Thursday (June 29), with the majority

of the country facing warnings for storms. After last week’s storms CAUSED DRAMATIC SCENES ACROSS THE COUNTRY, the weather across France has been full of clear skies and warm temperatures.

Hçwever Météo France has now issued weather warnings for 75 departments on Thursday, with only the north-west, west and a handful of northern areas avoiding the alerts. Rain showers are

expected on Thursday, Friday (June 30) and Saturday (July 1). By Sunday (July 2), the rain is expected to become rarer. DEPARTMENTS FACE WARNINGS At the time of writing, 75 departments are

being warned over storms on Thursday. For now, all of these are tier-two warnings, advising residents to be cautious when outside and to keep up to date with local weather reports. You can

keep up to date with the announcements on the official Météo France site HERE. A TEMPORARY BLIP The stormy conditions seem to be little more than a slight deviation from the usual summer

weather, however. They are expected to continue on Friday (June 30), with the eastern half of the country on alert. It will be followed by rainfall on Saturday (July 1), which will sweep

eastward across France from the Atlantic to the German and Italian borders. Sunday (July 2) should on the whole see the end of the rain and although some areas of France may be cloudy, they

will remain dry and warm. RELATED ARTICLES MAN DIES IN FRANCE AFTER BEING STRUCK BY LIGHTNING AS HE LEFT WORK FRANCE STORM WARNINGS CONTINUE: TIPS ON HOW TO SECURE YOUR PROPERTY
