STORMY WEATHER IS ALSO EXPECTED, PARTICULARLY IN THE SOUTH-WEST France will see steadily rising temperatures over the coming days before a mini cold snap will then cause them to plummet next
weekend. Temperatures may reach up to 25C in the south-west and 20C in Paris during the middle of this week, with almost everywhere experiencing a higher than average warm spell. A sharp
drop on Saturday (March 23) will see temperatures drops in both the south – due to a blast of cold wind from Morocco and Spain – and in the north, where North Sea winds will sweep inland.
The national average temperature will go from being more than 3C warmer than average levels on Friday (March 22) to more than 2C colder than usual on Sunday (March 24). In some areas drops
may be more severe, such as in the north, where temperatures may fall by 10C. STORMS SET TO RETURN Regardless of the temperature, some stormy weather is predicted across France throughout
the week, particularly in the south around the Pyrénées. This includes a storm that will sweep from the Atlantic coast to the German border on Monday (March 18), set to bring rain to much of
central France during its passage. Pockets of stormy weather will persist in the south-west, particularly on Wednesday, as well as in the north later in the week. However, these storms are
not set to cause heightened weather warnings as they did last weekend, when seven people in the south of France died due to the weather.. The body of the last person missing, a 12-year old
boy, was found by rescuers on Friday evening. READ MORE: STORM DEATH TOLL RISES IN FRANCE AS HUNTERS FIND BODY OF MAN IN SOUTH WEATHER ALERTS REMAIN LOW Currently, only a handful of
