WELL IN A NEIGHBOURING DEPARTMENT. SHE WAS TRACED VIA A MOBILE PHONE SIGNAL AND HAD LEFT TO SPEND TIME WITH A MALE FRIEND OF HER OWN WILL. The French police are calling for witnesses after

a 20-year-old woman failed to come home after leaving to go jogging early on Friday morning (April 21). She has not been seen since. They say the jogger - identified as Chloé - is around

1.56m tall and of slim build with short brown hair and blond highlights. She was wearing a black sleeveless puffer jacket, royal blue sweatshirt, black tracksuit bottoms and white trainers.

commune in Seine-et-Marne (in the Ile-de-France region around Paris). Her mother called the police when she did not return. The police have since mobilised 75 gendarmes, a sniffer dog,

motocross riders (off-road motorbikes), divers, a mounted police squad and a helicopter to find the young woman. The local gendarmes have said that it finds her disappearance “worrying” and

out of character. It is not thought that she has run away. Anyone who has seen her or has information is being asked to call 01 64 14 93 90. Chloé was described as “very calm, very reserved

and hardworking in lessons” by the coach at the judo club she attends, Patrick Caron, in an interview with radio station Europe1. Mr Caron said judo club members are also taking part in the

search for Chloé, who works as a carer and is very “taken” by her job. He said “everyone is worried, everyone is asking themselves lots of questions”. He said friends and family had followed

the paths Chloé could have taken while out running in case she had had an accident, such as breaking her leg, that could have stopped her from returning home. The local mayor, Vincent
