If you like your fashion and homeware high end, there is a new shop that's just opened in Newcastle that needs to go straight to the top of your to-do list. Say hello to Oliver Bonas, the

luxury brand that has arrived in the city for the first time to launch in Eldon Square.

News of Oliver Bonas' arrival in Newcastle city centre was first broken via a joint Instagram post from Eldon Square and Get into Newcastle back in April, with it reading: 'Everybody stay

calm, it’s happening. Oliver Bonas is coming to Eldon Square! Get ready to splash out on some gorgeous homeware and clothing"

As well as having its clothes worn by a growing number of celebrity admirers, Oliver Bonas has also earned itself a fine reputation for quality home goods, with a lot of excitement about

that side of the business in the comments thread underneath the initial announcement on the new store. One excited follower replied: 'Great news! Love their homeware stuff' with another

writing: 'there’s goes my saving plan…" and a third very short but sweet with their response as they reacted: "OMG!"

Given the hype surrounding Oliver Bonas coming to Newcastle, it was no surprise that there were plenty of customers in early doors for opening day at the St Andrew's Way store on Wednesday,

with people clamouring to have a rifle through the rails and get their hands on some of the brand's most sought after items. The aesthetic of the new Eldon Square store, just like the

products is very colourful and effortlessly chic and, speaking to ChronicleLive, manager Vicky Lavelle said: "If you're not familiar with us, we are an independent British lifestyle brand

and we sell a whole range of products: from beauty to lifestyle to gifting options.

"We've got jewellery and fashion, designed in house, so we've got that real focus on quality. We've got a whole host of different products, plus our service is amazing at the team are just

fabulous."
