Newcastle City Hall stage on Monday night, as Take That legend Gary Barlow did a duet with the daughter of a famous 80s icon. And the performance came just 24 hours after Gary went for a

meal at the coast with her dad. The Newcastle city centre concert venue was packed to the rafters for the first of two consecutive shows from national treasure Gary, who is currently

entertaining audiences all over the UK on his Songbook 2025 tour. The two City Hall gigs arrive towards the end of the run, which will wrap up later this month after shows in the likes of

Leicester and Scarborough. And Gary has been joined for the entirety of the tour by Jemma Donovan, who, if you haven't already guessed from her second name, is the daughter of

Neighbours heartthrob turned chart-topper Jason Donovan. Having starred alongside Kylie Minogue in the Aussie soap, Jason, just like his on screen wife and one time real life love interest,

embarked on a music career that spawned huge hits like Too Many Broken Hearts, When You Come Back to Me and Any Dream Will Do. The latter is, of course, from hit musical Joseph and Jason is

currently on stage in the Rocky Horror Show, which is playing the Grand Theatre in Leeds this week. However, at the weekend he was up in the North East to celebrate his 57th birthday with

his wife, daughter Jemma and Gary, as they headed to Tynemouth for food at Riley's Fish Shack. His own commitments meant that Jason couldn't be in the audience to see Jemma sing

with Gary in Newcastle, with her one of two backing vocalists for the gig and also duetting with Gary on If There's Not A Song About It, his recent duet with American star Colbie

Caillat. Like her dad, Jemma has been in Neighbours, with her joining the soap in 2019, before then moving to the UK to star as Rayne Royce in Hollyoaks, with her character killed by Romeo

Nightingale, who pushed her into a swimming pool last year. Romeo is played by Jemma's boyfriend Owen Warner, who appeared on I'm A Celebrity at the end of 2022 and finished in
