Amazon shoppers issued warning as products reported over 'serious' safety risks

Amazon shoppers have been warned to make sure they have not purchased items which could pose a "serious" safety risk. The Government's Office for Product Safety &

Standards has issued several reports this week for products sold via the online retail giant on its Product Safety Alerts, Reports and Recalls page. Items including power adaptors, car

battery chargers, hot plates and air pumps have all been stopped at the border recently after failing UK safety regulations. While these products being rejected at the border mean that UK

customers are unlikely to have them in their possession, it's nonetheless worth checking recent purchases and staying up to date with the latest alerts. Here is the full list of

products sold on Amazon that the Office for Product Safety & Standards has issued reports for within the last seven days. The Amazon product identifier code is also known as an ASIN and

shock as live internal parts are accessible without tools, and the plug face does not meet the required dimensional requirements. A user could access the live parts while the product is in
