For the LGBTQ+ community, and the allies that stand beside them in solidarity, Birmingham Pride is one of the most important weekends in the city calendar. Taking place on Saturday, May 24
and Sunday, May 25, Pride is a festival to celebrate life and love, as well as an opportunity to march for equality and justice. Over two days, more than 75,000 people are expected to

More than 40,000 are expected to attend the festival site, in the heart of the LGBTQ+ village, where music stars will perform for the crowd, in a safe space, free of judgment. While the
majority of the festivities take place on Saturday and Sunday, there will also be a free-to-attend community event at Smithfield Live on Friday, May 23 Article continues below It will
feature performances from diverse artists within the community, a candlelit HIV memorial vigil, keynote speakers, community stalls, family-friendly activities and street food. Birmingham
LGBT will be on the site during the event offering free mental health and wellbeing interventions, a pop-up sexual health clinic and help and support pertaining to domestic violence and
substance misuse. Here's everything you need to know about the weekend's plans: BIRMINGHAM PRIDE 2025 LINE-UP Clean Bandit, Cascada and Bananarama are among the artists scheduled
to play the main stage at the festival this year. Vengaboys, Alexandra Burke and Steps star Claire Richards are also on the bill. The Wanted 2.0, The Saturdays star Una Healy, Clementine
Douglas, Moonchild Sanelly, Kitty Scott-Claus, Catty, Tom Rasmussen, Vicky Jackson (performing as Pink) and the Birmingham Royal Ballet are also taking part in the festivities. On the Dance
Stage, James Chadney, Charlie Adams and Teejay are on the bill, along with many others, which you can see here. There's a cabaret stage too, as well as a community stage for yet more
artists, the full line-up for which can be found here. BIRMINGHAM PRIDE 2025 TICKETS Weekend tickets to pride are priced from £73.70 and from £49.50 for a single day pass. Tickets to the
community event on Friday are completely free, as are tickets for children aged 11 and under. A weekend street party ticket is £18.70, offering access to the community market stalls, food
vendors, the Power of Pride Stage, the Emerging Queer Artists Stage, the Eden Stage and the Community Stage as well as the LGBTQ+ bars and clubs. Tickets for all, including VIP passes, are
available here. It's worth noting that there's a low-income ticket scheme in place which allows 50% discount to those on low incomes or who are eligible for state support such as
Universal Credit. Birmingham City University, Colmore BID and Millennium Point make that possible. BIRMINGHAM PRIDE PARADE 2025 The Birmingham Pride Parade is a chance to protest, marching
for equality and justice for LGBTQ+ people all over the world. It's free for anyone and everyone to attend, with the floats convening in Centenary Square at around 11am. From 12pm,
it'll make its way through the city centre and onward to the LGBTQ+ village. BIRMINGHAM PRIDE 2025 TIMINGS As mentioned above, the Pride Parade begins at 12pm on Saturday, May 24. The

ROAD CLOSURES AND BUS ROUTE CHANGES Pershore Street will be closed between Sherlock Street and Upper Dean Street to allow access to the Birmingham Pride Events. On Saturday, May 24, the
following bus services will be diverted: 2, 3, 4, 4A, 5, 6, 9, 12, 12A, 13, 13A, 16, 17, 23, 24, 35, 45, 47, 50, 60, 61, 63, 80, 82, 87, 97, 126, X1, X2, X8, X10, X21 and X22. Details of bus

to St Martins Queensway * St Martins Tunnel for when Moor Street reopens but Tunnel is closed * Smallbrook Queensway. St Martins Tunnel to Hill Street * Hurst Street The West Midlands Metro
will run between Wolverhampton and Bull Street from 8am until 2:30pm. Full service will run until 8am and after 2:30pm. After 2:30pm, the tram will run to Edgbaston Village again.
