"serious injury or death" risk in a new Foreign Office travel update. The government body's 'Safety and Security' page was amended to include further information
regarding outdoor activities and adventure tourism in the country. Under the 'Paragliding' section, the FCDO urged UK tourists to be aware of previous fatalities which have
occurred when travellers have decided to take part in the extreme sport. FCDO guidelines state: "Paragliding is an extreme sport and carries the risk of serious injury or death. British

electing to instead watch another person paraglide, the Foreign Office has urged you to be mindful of landing zones in public areas. The website stated: "Make sure you are given full
instructions and training before your activity. "If you are near where paragliding activities take place, be aware that the landing area may be in a public area. Keep a reasonable
distance from potential landing zones for your personal safety." Other advice the FCDO has regarding extreme sports, includes a general list of essential steps to follow before
committing to something. The guidelines explained: "If you do an extreme sport, check that adequate safety precautions are in place. British nationals have been injured and killed doing

are included in the Foreign Office's travel advice page.
