THE STRIKER WAS ONE OF 10 YOUNGSTERS RELEASED BY BIRMINGHAM CITY AT THE END OF LAST SEASON 10:16, 03 Jun 2025 Released Birmingham City striker Junior Dixon has joined Boreham Wood on a
permanent basis. Blues confirmed last month that Dixon would be leaving the club two years after arriving from Premier League side Crystal Palace. The 20-year-old striker was prolific in his
first season with Blues’ under-21s, helping them reach the Professional Development League final where they were defeated 2-0 by Sheffield United. But he was overlooked for a place on the
club’s pre-season tour of Austria last summer and subsequently loaned out to Boreham Wood. Dixon netted seven goals in 40 appearances for Wood in the National League South, most of which
came off the bench, and helped them win promotion to the National League via the play-offs. The London-born striker was named in one first team squad during his time at Blues and has signed
a two-year contract at Boreham Wood. Article continues below Romelle Donovan, who was the other stand-out player from the under-21 side of 2023/24, completed a permanent transfer to Premier
League side Brentford on Monday. Fellow youngsters Ben Beresford, Taylor Dodd, Laiith Fairnie, Harley Hamilton, Josh Home, Femi Olofinjana, Sahid Kamara, Stoyan Pergelov and Oliver Sayer
were released alongside Dixon by Blues. BIRMINGHAM CITY CHAMPIONS 2024/25 RECORD-BREAKING Birmingham City are back in the Championship. Chris Davies' side passed the 100-point mark on
their way to taking the League One title this season. And this Birmingham Mail promotion special charts the brilliant Blues' path to glory, with match-by-match analysis, reaction,
