Birmingham City academy product Jobe Bellingham could follow in the footsteps of older brother Jude this summer and leave England for Borussia Dortmund - and if he does so, then there is a
chance that he'll benefit Blues in a small way. Jobe left Blues for Championship rivals Sunderland in the summer of 2023 for a fee in the region of £1.5m. Upon moving to the Stadium of
Light he reunited with former Blues academy senior staff Mike Dodds and Kristjaan Speakman. The teenager has continued to play regularly under Regis Le Bris this season and is set to take
part in this weekend's Championship play-off final, which Sunderland contest with Sheffield United. Thus far, he has scored four goals and registered three assists in 42 appearances in
all competitions. Regardless of whether the Black Cats are in the Premier League next season or not, though, it appears as though Bundesliga outfit Dortmund are eager to complete a deal this
summer - in time for Bellingham to represent them at the Club World Cup in the US which kicks off next month. Bellingham, who has been selected regularly by England under 21 boss Lee
Carsley, made 26 appearances for Blues having been handed his debut by Lee Bowyer, and then playing a little more regularly under John Eustace. The Daily Mail claimed last spring that, as a
part of the deal which took Bellingham from Blues to Sunderland, Blues would receive up to 15% of any future profit in the event the Black Cats sold Jobe on. Reports in Germany claim that
Dortmund, who had Jude on their books from 2020 until 2023 before moving to Real Madrid, want to conclude a deal for Bellingham prior to being in action this summer - although,
interestingly, Patrick Berger reports that they don't feel as though they are in pole position. Sunderland want at least 25m euros. With speculation increasing that Bellingham could be
targeted this summer, it could have a knock-on effect for Blues - who are likely to be active in the summer window themselves - in the event he was sold, although it's likely to take a
substantial offer to tempt Sunderland. WHAT DO YOU EXPECT BLUES TO ACHIEVE NEXT SEASON? TELL US HERE _Everyday, the BirminghamLive football desk strive to deliver all manner of news,
