Aston Villa are reported to be 'keeping an eye' on Tammy Abraham's situation this summer, in the event he becomes available and looks to England as a destination. Abraham, a
Chelsea academy product, is still on the books of AS Roma but he spent last season on loan at Serie A rivals AC Milan, who finished the season with a flurry of victories but only managed
eighth place and won't be in any form of European competition next season. The striker, who is still only 27, joined Roma in the summer of 2021 when leaving Chelsea for good, following
a series of loan spells away from Stamford Bridge - including, of course, at Villa Park where he enjoyed an especially fruitful campaign under Steve Bruce and Dean Smith. Roma will have a
new manager this summer; Claudio Ranieri is leaving the club and it's expected that Atalanta boss Gian Piero Gasperini will leave the club - who he led to the Europa League title in
2024 - after nine years to move to the Italian capital. It could be that Abraham is handed a lifeline. In the event he is made available for transfer, though, a host of clubs - including
Villa - have been credited with an interest in the forward, who has a couple of years remaining on his existing Roma contract. He scored ten goals and laid on seven assists in 45 appearances
for Milan last term. Abraham, who hit double figures for Chelsea in the two seasons prior to his departure and who has scored three goals in his 11 caps for England, spoke last year of the
enjoyment he had at Villa : "It was probably my best experience [of all his loans]. It wasn't my plan to go from Prem to Champ, but looking back I have no regrets. "It was an
amazing club, I didn't realise how massive they were until I was there. The best thing was to have a great season and to have a promotion - it was probably one of the best moments of my
career so far. I still watch every game and still feel the same love for them." Abraham, who moved to Roma in 2021 for a fee of £34m, joined Villa on a loan deal in 2018 and he scored
26 goals in the Championship - including four in one game against Nottingham Forest and one crucial goal in the play-offs - as Villa secured a return to the Premier League. Reports suggest
that Manchester United have been offered the chance to sign Abraham as an alternative to target Liam Delap, who is instead making for Chelsea. Newcastle United also like the idea of having
Abraham as back up to Alexander Isak ahead of their Champions League campaign, while newly promoted Leeds United too are supposedly interested. WOULD YOU HAVE ABRAHAM BACK AT VILLA? HAVE
