unexpected payday for certain Nationwide customers, through the building society's Fairer Share scheme which has been confirmed as running again for 2025. Payments will start landing in

either a qualifying savings account or mortgage with Nationwide. It's also too late for customers to qualify as this needed to be the case as of March 31. This means someone can't
open a savings account now to qualify, for example. Customers who just have a current account with the building society, or just have a mortgage will miss out. Bonus payments will only be
paid into active current accounts. Nationwide explained: "The Nationwide Fairer Share Payment is £100 for the third year running. "Over four million of our members will receive it.
"We will have paid out over £1 billion to eligible members since 2023." They continued: "You must be a member of Nationwide with a qualifying current account, plus either
qualifying savings or a qualifying mortgage. Article continues below "And you need to have met these criteria when we last checked on March 31 this year. "Eligible members will
receive their £100 payment between June 18 and July 4, 2025. "We will only pay the money into an open Nationwide current account."
