THE CHANGE IN CONDITIONS HITS ENGLAND FROM MAY 30, BRINGING WITH IT 25C TEMPERATURES. 11:22, 20 May 2025 The UK faces a new mini-heatwave next week with Greater London and counties in the

south east of England set to benefit from the rising temperatures. The change in conditions hits England from May 30, bringing with it 25C temperatures. Counties set to see rising mercury,

as the weather maps and charts turn yellow, amber and even crimson RED at times, including London, Surrey, Middlesex, Essex, Berkshire, Hertfordshire. The maps have been projected by

Netweather TV, which alongside Ventusky and WX Charts, uses Met Desk data. It comes as the weather is on the turn for the Bank Holiday weekend. The UK has had a long run of sunny, warm and

dry weather. READ MORE SANTANDER ISSUES UPDATE TO 14 MILLION 'ACTIVE' CUSTOMERS AFTER MAKING BIG DECISION This week brings a few heavy showers, before a westerly change at the

weekend. Jo Farrow, from Netweather, said: "The UKV model has a cool northerly breeze off the North Sea with sunshine for much of eastern Britain. "There will be a few hefty

showers from Morecambe Bay down to Suffolk but through the afternoon the focus for most of the shower activity is over southern Britain with fine sunny weather elsewhere. "This

northerly flow will bring the UK back to that chilly edge to the air in the shade and after dark but still feeling very warm in the strong May sunshine." Ms Farrow went on and added:

"With a low centred over southern Sweden, showers begin to flow down the North Sea. There is some uncertainty about how many will move over eastern Britain or if most will stay

offshore. "With the focus from the northeast, this cooler northern flow will be a feature for eastern Britain on Thursday and Friday but for many, there will be more dry, fair weather.

It will feel cold by night but daytime temperatures will be in the high teens, maybe a few spots reaching 20 or 21C. Article continues below "Plenty more dry, bright weather to come but

just a few hefty showers to watch out for." The BBC Weather team has also issued an update on what lies ahead. Initially, it will be mostly dry with above-average temperatures. Later

next week, unsettled conditions are likely to emerge. However, it could become drier again later in the forecast period, with warmer conditions developing into meteorological summer.
