The AARP 2016 West Virginia Likely Voter Survey was conducted by Precision Opinion among registered voters age 45 and older in the state of West Virginia on issues such as broadband access,
use and rates; caregiving and respite care; and financial exploitation. Key findings include the following: * The majority of West Virginia voters ages 45 and older agree elected officials
should work to ensure access to high-speed internet service to underserved/unserved areas. * Voters ages 45 and older say it is very important to them that home and community-based services
are available in their community. * Most older West Virginia registered voters strongly support a penalty for those convicted of financial exploitation. * Nearly two in three West Virginia
registered voters strongly agree that the state should work to make respite care services accessible to caregivers. The interviews were conducted in English by Precision Opinion from
August 10-22, 2016. The survey was approximately 15 minutes in length. The data was collected using a registered voter list. For more information contact Jennifer Sauer at [email protected].
