Welcome to this gentle mat class led by Karen Sanzo, an instructor for the online streaming platform Pilates Anytime. In this class, you’ll learn how to focus on improving mobility.


You will engage in a sequence of movements that transition between standing, the mat and standing again. By integrating concepts from prior classes, this session will allow you to feel the


progress in your practice.


This beginner-to-intermediate class offers modifications for all fitness levels.


Please consult your physician before beginning any new exercise regimen.

About the instructor Pilates Anytime


Karen Sanzo is a Pilates instructor, trainer and physical therapist internationally recognized for her innovative approaches to the Pilates method. She is a certified instructor with the


Pilates Center of Austin, the PhysicalMind Institute and the PilateSystem. She conducts Pilates certification workshops all over the U.S., teaching instructors how to demystify Pilates and


making it accessible to everyone. As a skilled physical therapist, Sanzo has both teaching and practical experience in the areas of muscle imbalance, soft tissue mobilization and exercise


stabilization. Her comprehensive knowledge of anatomy and biomechanics — and years of experience as a master teacher — have shaped wellness programs across the nation.
